A bulky paycheck comes after a college degree for most, but not for everyone. Some of the richest people in the world dropped out of college or skipped the step all together. Whether its intelligence, creativity, drive, or just plain luck, these people are millionaires with no bachelor's degree.

Most people agree that going to university and obtaining a degree provides numerous benefits in life.

There are many people, however, who go on to become successful without ever having attended a university and a lot of rich people in Ghana who fall under this category.

Jerry John Rawlings

Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings is a former head of state and president of Ghana. He falls on the list of richest people in Ghana. Rawlings has a limited education. He graduated from Achimota School and that was where he ended his formal education journey.

Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo, known by his stage name Sarkodie, is a Ghanaian hip hop recording artist and entrepreneur from Tema. He left it right there at high school.

It is no secret that Osei Kwame popularly referred to as  "Kwame Despite" the Chief Executive of Despite Group of Companies is one of Africa’s most successful businessmen.
