Ghana's Finance Ministry establishes complaints system for the general public

In a statement issued by the Ministry is stated that the Unit will give the general public the opportunity to receive timely feedback after they report their grievances to the Ministry.

“The Unit is to provide an additional channel for taxpayers to report their complaints and receive timely feedback and fair treatment,” a public notice from the Finance Ministry said.

It added: “All information provided will be kept confidential and the identities of informants well-guarded.”

ESTABLISHMENT OF A SOLUTIONS SERVICE UNIT AT THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE

The Ministry of Finance announces the establishment of a Solutions Service Unit at the Ministry to offer opportunity to the General Public to seek redress and offer information that could lead to the prevention of loss of revenue or the retrieval of revenues from tax evaders.

The Unit is to provide an additional channel for taxpayers to report their complaints and receive timely feedback and fair treatment.

Dedicated officers have been assigned to attend to the needs of all clients

The Public can locate the office in the Ministry of Finance New Block, Ground floor Room 12 during the hours of 8am – 5pm.
