A private jet company which allows pets to travel 'furs class' is offering dogs a luxury hotel stay complete with a three-course Michelin-starred dinner

Victor has flown five falcons, nine identical pugs, 10 bunny rabbits, and an 80kg Leonberger dog.

If you're dreaming of soaking up some sun on the Riviera this summer but can't stand the idea of leaving your pets at home, it's your lucky day — thanks to private jet charter marketplace Victor, you can now seamlessly travel with your furry friends every step of the way. If you're willing to pay, that is.

Business Insider wrote about the company — and its "Pets on Jets" service which allows dogs to fly with their owners — back in 2014. Now, the on-demand private jet service, which works much like Uber (but instead of booking a car, you're booking a luxury airplane), is expanding the offering to include a complete "Petaway" to the South of France.

The package includes a charter with Victor for you and your pet and a stay at luxury hotel Cap Estel, situated on Eze's sea front close to Nice and Monaco.

The company wants pets and owners alike to get a "Furs Class" experience. At Cap Estel, dogs will be greeted with a "surprise welcome amenity."

There is also a Michelin-star gourmet restaurant, where the hotel's head chef will provide a specially cooked, seasoned, and served three-course "gastronomic meal" for your pet.

Here's the menu:

Canine food, toys, bowls, and dog baskets/beds will be available in the pet-friendly rooms, and pet sitting/walking services are available.

Six of the suites were recently refurbished and offer stunning panoramic views of the sea.

There is, however, an extra charge of €25 (£22) per night, per pet, and only one (house-trained) pet will be allowed per room.

There are "peaceful gardens" which your dog can run in, "lovely scenic walks" near the hotel in the countryside or on the seafront, and nearby restaurants allowing pets should you want to venture out.

There's also a cinema and a library, where your pooch is welcome.

Pets are allowed anywhere in the hotel — apart from the spa, private beaches, and saltwater infinity pool — but they must be on a lead in the restaurant and at the bar.

The cost for the holiday is pretty steep.

An on-demand, return private jet charter from Victor to and from London Luton airport to Nice on a Citation XLS will set you back at least £13,000 for two passengers. The flight takes about one hour 50 minutes each way.

A room at Cap Estel then starts at €1,090 (£959) per night this summer, with the pet fee and €3 (£2.64) per night city tax on top. A 35-minute limousine transfer from Nice to Cap Estel is an additional €130 (£114) each way, thought you can ride in a Mercedes Class S or V.

A hot buffet breakfast in included in the room cost, though.

Still, it seems there's a market for it. According to Victor, "Pets on Jets" charters are up by 11.3% year-on-year.

The company has seen a number of bizarre bookings, such as one member who asked to take 10 cases of gourmet dog food on board so their pooch would have a menu of tailored holiday meals while they were away.

Victor has also flown five falcons on a Dassault Falcon 7X plane (seriously), nine identical pugs, 10 bunny rabbits, and an 80kg Leonberger dog.

If you're thinking of travelling with your pooch — and you're not put off by the price tag — the company says there are a few things to keep in mind.
