Kenya had its elections in the last week as President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta beat Raila Odinga at the polls.

The swearing in of the President-elect Kenyatta is set to take place on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

However, not all Kenyans are happy with the news of Kenyatta taking over governance for another term as protests spring up in some areas.

But there is a Kenya people want to see and a photo trending on social media depicts exactly that.

An Inspector, named Salah was pictured in the mist of protesters as he calmed nerves in the protest.

Salah, instead of the usual force we’ve normally witnessed when it comes to stopping violence in protests, the Inspector had his gun tucked away and his arms opened just to calm the situation.

This other side of the Kenyan election is what Africa wants to see. That other good side of Africa to the world.
