Where does Sammy Adjei rank among Ghana's best ever goalkeepers?

The Black Stars' goalkeepingdepartment has been graced with some great names that have been phenomenal in posts at various international levelsand in various tournaments.

With some recent controversies surrounding choice of goalkeepers for the senior national team, we profile some of Ghana's best ever goalkeeper who played for the country at the international level.

Robert Mensah: he won the African Clubs Cup in 1970 with Asante Kotoko. He was also a runner-up with the Ghana squad for the 1968 African Cup of Nations and represented Ghana at the 1968 Summer Olympics.

Richard ‘Olele’ Kingson: Played for Ghana in the 2006 and 2010 World Cup is currently the goalkeepers’ trainer for the Black Stars.

Ali Jarah: He played in three juvenile World Cups and won two silver medals and one African Cup of Nations.

Sammy Adjei: The agile goalkeeper was part of the 2006 World Cup team. He won the Champions league with Accra Hearts of Oak in 2000.

Daniel Agyei: Won the U-20 World Cup in 2009.

Ibrahim Dossey: He won Africa's first Olympic football medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Joseph 'Joe' Carr: The ace goalkeeper was named in four Africa Cup of Nations during his career before later joining Real Sociedad as a goalkeeper coach.
