Jeff Bezos announced the opening of a new Amazon wind farm on Thursday.

Amazon's wind- and solar-farm initiatives help power Amazon Web Services with renewable energy. AWS is the backbone of many internet companies and is a huge part of Amazon's business outside of retail. Amazon's goal is to reach 100% renewable energy for AWS using wind and solar power.
