Transport situation worsens at Paga border

A recent coup in Burkina Faso by presidential guards led to 10 deaths and several injuries in the capital Ouagadougou.

Scores of cargo truck drivers and some businessmen are stuck at Paga, a border town with Burkina Faso in the Upper East region of Ghana due to the unstable security situation in the West African nation.

checks at the Paga border have revealed that cargo truck drivers are still unable to travel to Burkina.
