Kenya's richest man to speak at 2016 Entrepreneurs Summit

The man considered as Kenya’s richest is believed to have built the experience and success over the years worthy of emulation by younger generation of African entrepreneurs.

At the Summit to be held in Accra, Chris Kirubi is expected to share lessons from his business successes and failures from the many years spent building an empire that spans real estate and manufacturing that has made him one of the richest men on the continent.

Mr. Kirubi acquired his first real estate building in the early 1970s, and has since then built as many as 40 other residential houses in iconic localities in Nairobi to form his International House real estate business which is  today worth over 200 million dollars. Adding his other assets, Mr. Kuribi is worth 300 million dollars.

“I mentor a lot of young people. These youths are on Facebook and Twitter, I give them advice and tips on how to succeed in business and in life”, he says, explaining why, even at 70 years old, he has about 1300 followers on Twitter.

Apart from that the man placed at number 31 on Forbes inaugural list of Africa’s 40 Richest individuals, still DJs at Nairobi radio station, Capital Fm, a station he owns.

It is expected to be an impactful session with Mr. Kirubi on the 27 of September, 2016 at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra.

The Entrepreneurs Summit is targeted at business owners, SMEs, and any other professional involved in the business building process as employees or employers.
