EFG opens nominations for Ghana Business Quality Awards

Nominations for the Made in Ghana @ 60 Business Quality Awards, scheduled for September, on the theme: “Celebrating 60 years of business quality and development in Ghana,” have opened.

Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG), under the auspices of the Ministries of Trade and Industry and Finance have officially opened nominations for the Made in Ghana @ 60 Business Quality Awards, scheduled for September.

The awards scheme which is endorsed by the Ghana Standard Authority seeks to rewards businesses that have transcended quality standards across the country and deserve to be commended for their work.

The Made in Ghana Business Quality Awards 2017 according to CEO and founder of EFG Mr Sam Ato Gaisie would be celebrating iconic business that have since independence established brands that prioritize quality to motivate emerging businesses to incorporate such standards to improve the quality of Ghanaian products of services.

This initiative would further promote effective quality management methodologies by Ghanaian enterprises in improving industrial competitiveness.

The awards ceremony would have six categories cut across the span of independence.

The Regional Business Icon of the year assessment criteria will be based on the basis of three parameters; a business executive who is a native of the region and has contributed in the social economic and business development in a community since independence, offering a point of difference from competitors.

The Ghana@60 Business Quality awards assessment criteria will be based on the basis of three parameters; a registered business in Ghana that has demonstrated overall service quality, competitiveness and innovation since independence, offering a point of difference from their competitors.

The Made in Ghana quality products of the year award assessment criteria will be based  on the basis of four parameters that demonstrate overall product superior quality, product labeling/packaging, product competitiveness and product standard certification
