A business delegation from France are in Ghana to explore business opportunities in the country, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mawuena Trebah has comfirmed.

The area of interest for the visiting French business delegation include; agro-business, hospitality and tourism, ICT, education, healthcare, packaging for export , pharmaceuticals , energy, waste management and infrastructure.

Policy think- tank, IMANI Ghana is mounting pressure on the National Communications Authority and Ministry of Communications to annul the entire the application evaluation process, and calling on the “Ministry to re-open the tender and provide adequate time for best practices to be followed in the evaluation of bids.

According to IMANI Ghana, the NCA  has awarded a contract to Afriwave Telcom Ghana Limited to create a common platform for the settlement of interconnect traffic for the telecommunication industry, routing, switching and billing.
