After narrowly winning their preliminary contest, Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS came into the one-eighth contest much prepared to win the contest convincingly.

They won the competition with 43 points whilst Tema Secondary School, their closest contender, scored 25 points. Kintampo SHS could only make 8 points out of the entire contest.

Speaking to nsmq.com.gh after their success, the contestants from Porters, Adjoa Enyidado Hackmann and Naimatu Puuwaya Abdul-Rashid, recounted how nervous they were coming into the contest but with the encouragement from friends and teachers, they were able to overcome the daunting challenge of eliminating a seeded school, Kintampo SHS, from the competition.

They, however, said they will work on their speed and accuracy to perform better in the Speed Race of their next contest.
