Authorities of the Opoku Ware Senior High School in the Ashanti region have suspended indefinitely three alleged gay students for indulging in homosexuality.

The three boys, according to Starr FM were suspended after a disciplinary committee established they were homosexuals, following a 'caught-in-the-act' report made against them by their colleagues.

According to him, the allegations are false and wonders why they are being punished for something they have not done.

A teacher in the school who also spoke on condition of anonymity described the indefinite suspension of the students as unjust.

"I am deeply worried because these are adolescents who have a future and if as teachers or educationists, we are unable to help them to their aspirations and we look at...mere allegations from students and dismiss boys who have a bright future to live and tell some of the impact that some of us have had on them, then I am very worried".
