‘Antoa Nyamaa’ Man curses teachers at Adiembra Basic School

A 26-year-old man, Yaw Adjei has invoked curses on teachers at Adiembra District Assembly (D/A) Basic School at Ahafo Ano South District in the Ashanti Region.

He invoked the  Asante deity, ‘Antoa Nyamaa’, and  others on them.

Yaw Adjei who is a resident in the area invoked the curses when he was accused by some teachers that he had stolen money, mobile phones, a laptop and desktop computers belonging to the school.

According to report by Daily Graphic, one of the teachers said for some time now, the teachers had been suspecting Yaw Adjei of stealing some items from the school.

Based on suspicion, he said Adjei was arrested after the school authorities reported the matter to the Mankranso Police.

He added that the suspect [Adjei] was subsequently arrested on February 10, 2017 to assist with investigations.

Adjei was granted bail, walked to the school and invoked the deities to curse them, the teacher said.

He had gone into hiding and efforts by the school authorities to get Adjei to reverse the curses had proved futile.
