Mavis Botchway, a form two student of Winneba Secondary School won a one-year full educational scholarship after her ticket number was picked at random at Gasmilla’s Father Christmas Show.

“I want to spend time with the kids, have fun with them and some lucky kids would go home with an educational scholarship, Christmas gifts and other goodies. Trust me the kids are going to have fun,” Gasmilla said earlier.
Thousands of kids thronged the Efua Sutherland Park on Boxing Day to have fun with the Telemo hit maker. The project was aimed at giving back to the poor and needy children.
While some of the children rode on horses with joy, others had a nice time on bouncy castles. There was also face painting and photo-shoot sessions with Gasmilla.
The popular Agro Fie, local entertainment programme designed to educate Ghanaians on the traditions, values and ideas of the country in a fun way also spiced up the program.
The kids were treated to musical performances from Shilo, Nii Funny, Olonka, Capaster, the International Fisherman Gasmilla among others.
Emcee for the event, Bismark the Joke, who was in his elements did not only present the order of the show but exhibited some crazy dance moves to entertain the children.
Bicycles, footballs and T-shirts were also given to some of the children again through random pick.
However, the winner of the dancing competition walked home with a bicycle.
