Quiz champions Prempeh College meet Akufo-Addo at Flagstaff House

This is the first the team is meeting the president after they won the competition in June against St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College.

The 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) champions,

This is the first the team is meeting the president after they won the competition in June against St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College.

The details of the visit have not been made pictures except the pictures which was posted on the president's social media handle.

The President had congratulated the team when they won the competition saying they were the favourite from the start.

He tweeted: “Congratulations to Prempeh College for winning #NSMQ2017.

“Favourite from the start; they justified that tag at the end of the contest. Better luck next time to the other schools. #NSMQ2017.”

In July, the team also visited the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

He announced an education support package for the contestants when they get to the tertiary level.

Prempeh College has won the competition four times. The school has previously won the competition in 1994, 1996 and 2015.
