22-yr-old caught writing exam for 400-level medical student at UNILAG

A 22- year-old man, Oluwatudimi Folajimi, has been arraigned for impersonating a fourth year medical student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Ayomikun Semudara, during an examination.

A 22- year-old man, Oluwatudimi Folajimi, has been arraigned for impersonating a fourth year medical student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) during an examination.

gathered that Folajimi attempted to write an examination on behalf of a 400-level student of medicine, Ayomikun Semudara, on the 4th of August.

The impersonator was found in possession of a forged student identity card bearing Semudara's name and was arrested.

Folajimi was arraigned before a Yaba Chief Magistrate's Court on a three counts charge.

“That you, Oluwatudimi Folajimi, and one Ayomikun Semudara, on August 4, 2015, at about 2pm, at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba, Lagos, did conspire together to commit felony to wit: forgery and examination malpractice, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011," the charge read in part.

The accused pleaded not guilty following which the magistrate, Mrs O.A. Erinle granted him bail in the sum of N80,000.

Meanwhile, the police are still looking for his accomplice Semudara.
