She made this known while addressing a number of African Undergraduate students at the Yale University in Connecticut at the weekend.

Mrs Bawumia, who holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management, advised the students to always bring their knowledge and experiences to bear on society.

As part of the programme, Mrs Bawumia was a panelist in a lively debate on Women and Government.

This was where she narrated her life story with the students and advised them to be diligent in whatever they do.

She further argued that her academic work and other life experiences would be greatly beneficial to her current role in governance.

Mrs Bawumia was quick to add that students should always draw lessons from their parents and elders in society in the course of their duties.

This conference was branded “The SANKOFA54 African Development Conference” and is an initiative of the Yale Association for African Peace and Development (YAAPD).
