Fancy Gadam denies using 'juju' to attract fans

He said the massive support base he has across the country is due to years of hard work in his days as an underground artiste.

He dispelled the rumour of using juju to back his music career in an interview with the Graphic Showbiz newspaper.

“I have actually heard people say I use Juju in building my large fan base but there is no such thing but hard work and blessings from God,” he said.

“I believe in God who gave me the talent and I thank Him for giving me the talent to capture the Northern Region with my music.”

Fancy Gadam is reported as the first northern-based artiste to enjoy massive following in the southern sector.

He reportedly filled the national theatre to capacity in his first show in the capital, Accra, with his Gadam Nation Concert.

He was also the toast of fans at the recently held Zongofest as the national theatre.

Fancy Gadam has bragged that he is the biggest artiste to have come from the Northern Region.

“I used almost five years to build my fan base and I can confidently say there is no artiste in Ghana who is bigger than me in the Northern Region of Ghana,” he said.

He currently has a new single with Sarkodie, titled "Total cheat."

He has in an interview with Pulse.com.gh said he charges between GHC 30,000 and 50,000 per show.

“My management charges between 30k to 50k cedis per show. They take nothing less than 30k cedis,” Fancy Gadam said.
