Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Gasmilla has stated that although 2015 has been a “wonderful” year for him, he was unable to release his album as planned.

The King of Azonto in an interview with Pulse.com.gh said his inability to release the album was due to a number of projects he embarked on during the year under review.

“This year has been my greatest year since I came into the music scene in 2011. I believe this year has been a very wonderful one. Apart from that, my fan base has grown so well. Everything about this year has been wonderful. But I was unable to release my album because there were too many projects: the Homowo Beach Clean-up, Gasmilla Father Christmas show and in between, I had to travel and all that," he noted.

Gasmilla would not blame himself for not being able to launch his album saying, “I believe sometimes, we as humans have plans but God has the bigger plan.”

With several endorsement deals and performances at almost all the big shows in Ghana, the Telemo hit maker says he is still the humble and affable person people know.

“I said to myself from the word go that money wouldn’t change me. I made the money; the money didn’t make me so how can that money influence me? I rather influence the money. I believe I’m still the same guy,” he asserted.

Gasmilla was however confident the album will be released in 2016.
