A bronze bust of Bill Cosby has been removed from Walt Disney World theme park in Hollywood.

The item was removed on Tuesday night from a section of the park that pays tribute to TV legends, according to the Orlando Sentinel and follows accusations of sexual misconduct by the actor, made by more than two dozen women.

Brittany Gavrilova, who says her aunt is one of Cosby's alleged victims, applauded the removal of the statue. Several months ago she posted a petition on Change.org calling for the bust's removal.

"Especially now that a document has been released where he has admitted to it, I don't think that someone like that should be placed on a pedestal, especially where people bring their families," Gavrilova said.

The statue was part of the theme park's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza, which features busts of TV legends such as Lucille Ball, Dick Clark, Andy Griffith, Oprah Winfrey and Walt Disney.
