I am still friends with Amanda - Afriyie Acquah

Black Stars player, Afriyie Acquah has revealed in an interview that he is still friends with his ex-wife, Amanda.

Staying on good terms with an ex can be one of life's hardest challenges for some people. But Black Stars Midfielder, Afriyie Acquah is an exception.

Afriyie Acquah says he is still friends with his ex-wife, Amanda.

“We are cool, we can even fight when we are not together anymore, we are kool..”

The Torino player revealed that he has a big heart and always find ways to deal with issues affecting his life.

He emphasized that he traveling about at the age of 15 has prepared him well for all challenges and he also learned the foreign way of life, not perturbed about issues of life.

“I have a big heart. When those things happened, I know what I will do and it will not worry me. I traveled when I was fifteen. I have the mentality of the white people and it has helped me to be strong and have like a big heart to control that kind of things”.

The 25-year-old player also revealed that he has a good cordial relationship with Jordan Ayew, who was involved in his marital issues, speaking on GhOne TV.

“We are cool. When we get to camp, everybody like each other. We are just cool”.

In an audio leaked last year, Amanda talked about her past intimacy with her husband's international teammate, Jordan Ayew and how that often infuriates Acquah.

"Jordan and I have been good friends since childhood. We were being mocked from childhood and tagged as ‘husband and wife’. Even Dede Ayew use to say 'these people, don’t discuss their issues. They would fight today and you will see them together the next day,'” Amanda revealed in the audio.

"I have been with Jordan for four good years, not four days,” she added convincingly.

"If Afriyie is fertile, wouldn't he have impregnated me by now? Should I bring you cupful of prescribed medications he is taking for three months?,"

"Afriyie is very jealous, I swear. Whenever Afriyie sets his eyes on us (Amanda and Jordan) having a chat or hanging out, he quickly gets furious and stops talking to me until I apologise," Mrs. Acquah said.

"But now, Afriyie use to complain about his ailing relationship with Jordan Ayew. Afriyie once recounted that they travelled to Amsterdam and only Dede spoke to him; Jordan didn’t. He asked for Jordan’s contact but he refused," she added.
