I don’t believe in ‘blasphemy’ – Wanlov the Kubolor

The enigmatic musician has not shied from making public his rather controversial views on Christianity and God.

Wanlov the Kubolor

Controversial rapper, Wanlov the Kubolor has denied ever blaspheming, saying that he does not believe in the word.

The member of the FOKN Bois music duo who recently released a song titled, in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, disagreed with assertions that his comments about God are blasphemous.

“If I have said something they consider blasphemous to their God, fine. But every blessed day, there are some Christians who claim God is their personal God; yet, they behave like God is not there 100% of the time. So which is worse? Blasphemy or the outright sin? Blasphemy, I don’t even know what kind of sin that is. If I don’t believe in God and I’m saying something, how is that blasphemous? It does not apply to me because I don’t believe in that. It’s blasphemy to those who believe. It doesn’t apply to me,” he said.

These comments did not go down well with at wide section of the religious population.
