Before becoming a full time actor Deyemi worked as a marketing manager in a multinational e-commerce company. Deyemi Okanlawon is popular for his acting role on hit web TV series 'Gidi Up' and EbonyLife TV series 'Dowry'. The handsome guy was also featured of Waje’s video ‘no be you’ as his love interest.
Deyemi attended the New York Film Academy with the help of Nollywood actress Stephanie Linus’ husband’s company called Del-York International. In 2013 he won the Best Actor in a Short Film at the In-Short Film Festival for Tolu Ajayi’s psychological thriller, ‘Blink’
