Actress shares teary childhood memories

“My father died when I was 12 years old and I never knew my biological mum,” Elaine Attoh divulged during an exclusive interview with Pulse TV.

According to the sassy actress who started her acting career at the age of 5, she never saw her mum adding that she lost her dad at the age of 12.

But in their place was her grandmother. Elaine said her grand mum raised and bred her in the absence of her biological parents.

“My grandmother is my mother. I call her mum. She’s who I know took care of me as a mother. She loves me so much and she was into politics so when former President Rawlings travels and comes back to Ghana, I served as a flower girl,” grief-stricken Elaine said with tears dropping from her eyes.

She added that her growing up wasn’t blossom because she had a painful upbringing.

Elaine Alexis Attoh has starred in several TV series, Ghallywood, Kumawood and Nollywood movies.
