Abronye DC speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM Thursday June 15 said "Let me use your platform to tell those officials at the Flagstaff House that most of the confiscated cars are parked at the Regional Coordinating Council. They can go and pick them and return to the people we retrieved them from. I, Abronye DC, will not worry myself and drive to Sunyani to go for the cars."

It will be recalled that the 33-year-old sent one of the cars, black V8 Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GE 8118-16 to a workshop in Abelempke, Accra for total rebranding when National Security Operatives pounced on it.
The vehicle is said to be one of the 200 vehicles the presidency said are missing.
But Abronye said "John Dumelo’s seized car is at the Flagstaff House Annex. It should be returned to him. That of Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Kofi Adams should also be returned to them. All the cars that I seized have been parked at the Regional Coordinating Council in Sunyani and so the people we seized the cars from can go for their vehicle because the work we are doing is useless.
"Nobody should call and ask me about state cars anymore because I am no longer part of the task force."
