Since its release this past year the song has received lots of criticisms from the general public especially females who raised their concerns regarding Fancy Gadam’s song deeming it as an insult to women and especially ‘born ones’.

Speaking to Bolgatanga-based A1 Rdio, Fancy Gadam in his defense said his song is not an insult to women rather it was centred on the realities of life.

The award winning artist said what he talked about in the song was the reality on the ground and the song was meant to advice ladies who engaged in such acts to desist from it.

Asked if he has been in a relationship with a ‘born one’ as he famously referred to them in his song he said ‘absolutely no’.

“Every song has a concept and that is my concept. The song talks about ladies who deceive and lie about their looks and love life,” he explained to Lexis Drive, host of A1 Radio’s Sunset Drive.

He pleaded with ladies who have children yet are unmarried to sympathize and not take the song so literally.
