Today, the Lakers shooting guard, 37, tweeted for the first time since Lamar Odom was found unconscious and subsequently rushed to a Las Vegas hospital.

As NBA star, Lamar Odom, continues to battle for his life, his friend and former teammate, Kobe Bryant has made it clear that he has got his friend's back.

Today, the Lakers shooting guard, 37, tweeted for the first time since Lamar Odom was found unconscious and subsequently rushed to a Las Vegas hospital.

“#justpray,” Bryant tweeted, along with the message: “When WE feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led US to such insensitive suspicion.”

Even as the loyal friend shares his prayers and support, there has been back and forth exchange of words between the Lakers star and rapper,

The rapper practically spent the day blaming Brayant and Odom's estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, for his current state of affairs.

This is said to be a good sign as the doctors restrict the number of visitor's to the star's room in a bid to keep his heart stabilized, leaving khloe to remain by his side.

Odom, 35, Khloe, through his Lakers teammate, Ron Artest, who now goes by Metta World Peace, in August 2009.

They were married one month later though they split in 2013, it has been revealed by the courts that they are not yet legally divorced, and Khloe, 31, is said to be responsible for medical decisions regarding the athlete’s care.

Following the signs of improvement noted concerning Odom's health, Khloe has asked to have the star transferred to a Los Angeles hospital.

Our continued prayers remain with the star as he struggles for his life.
