Artiste congratulates Black Coffee for winning BET Award

The event was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, June 26.

 

The record producer cum disc jockey beat competition from MzVee (Ghana), AKA (South Africa), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Serge Beynaud (Cote D’ivoire), Wizkid (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade (Nigeria).

MzVee posted a photograph she took with Black Coffee with the caption, “Congratulation, Black Coffee #tiptoe#BETAwards2016

Black Coffee has become the first South African artist to walk away with a BET Award in the category.

Meanwhile, MzVee has expressed happiness for being at the 2016 BET Awards.

Speaking on Pluzz FM’s Am Pluzz, MzVee said her nomination opened doors for her, adding that it was exciting representing Ghana at the event.

“I am excited about my nomination and I went out there to connect and also have fun and I achieved that,” she said.
