Former R&B singer, Nii Soul, has stated that he left Bullhaus Entertainment because his former manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson known as Bulldog referred to him as a joke and a failure.

According to him, there was a misunderstanding between them which led to Bulldog calling him so. Although he apologised to his manager after the issue was resolved, Nii said Bulldog mentioned that he meant those words and that made him decide to leave Bullhaus since he could not leave his life in the hands of someone who did not believe in him.

“We had a little problem, management met me and all that. During the meeting, he [Bulldog] made a statement I thought it was out of anger. I apologised and all. After the meeting, I messaged him to apologise again and he said he meant what he said. He said I was a joke and a failure. If I’m putting my career in the hands of somebody who believes I’m a joke and a failure… So I respectfully told him that he let me go and ‘joke and fail’ somewhere else so...,” he said on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix.

Nii came second at the 2008 Project Fame music reality show in Nigeria after placing second in TV3 Mentor 2. He later decided to do gospel music and has since produced songs like, Love and Oshee Baba.

The artiste dispelled assertions that his issue with Bulldog made him quit secular music for gospel. He told host, Doreen Andoh that he decided to do gospel after hearing the voice of God asking him to do His will.

Joseph Ankrah, as known in real life however indicated that much has not been heard of him after switching to gospel because time is not yet up for him.

“The reason you’ve not heard too much from me is the fact that there are three stages in this. There is the calling, the waiting and the sending. I’m at the waiting stage. I’m waiting for that empowerment and when I get there, it’s going to be something else,” he said.
