Kacey Moore Talks Politics, Big Brother Africa Experience, Criticisms and More

Ghanaian poet, Kacey Moore talks about his experience in the BBA house, how he deals with criticisms and on top of all, politics on Pulse TV. Watch the interview.

Pulse TV had an interesting interaction with former BBA Hotshots’ housemate, Kacey Moore. He shared with us some fantastic moments and experiences he had in the BBA house. He also talked about the fact that some politicians approached him to give them right over his poetry song, “Electricity In My City” and subsequently taking him on tours to use his song against the incumbent government.

Ghana’s representative at the 2014 BBA Hotshots house revealed his life experiences after BBA saying, “Life after Big Brother Africa (BBA) has been very fun and exciting.  There’s always the bad side —you have people lashing out at you with no reasons.

“It’s been up and down, and I think that’s how life is about. It won’t be always gravy. Life after Big Brother Africa has been interesting, exciting and everything.”

Touching on some of the criticisms he received while in the BBA house, one of Ghana’s finest poet said his platonic relationship with Uganda’s representative, Ellah was the biggest of all. According to him, it was just platonic and insisted they are strong together but people got it wrong. He also claims the pictures they post on social media are just for publicity and not bothered by criticisms.

On politics, he talked about his artworks after BBA and how it linked to politics. Kacey Moore, who released “Electricity In My City” in December, 2014 after he was evicted from the BBA house claims he was approached by some members of an opposition party in Ghana to use his masterpiece for their 2016 election campaign and subsequently taking him on tours to bash out at the incumbent government, NDC. To him, it's not fair and thus declined the offer.

He further talked about his stage performances and how he accumulates money from his poetry work. He finally touched on his projects for this year – including new music releases, videos and tours sponsored by GO TV.

Kacey Moore has been billed to perform at Mzbel’s “Red Concert” and “The Awakening Concert" scheduled for Saturday, February 7.
