Rihanna Announced As Creative Director Of Puma

According to the company, the singer “will work with Puma to design and customize classic Puma styles as well as create new styles to add to the Puma product portfolio.”

A release from Puma has named Rihanna as the new creative director of the company.

Aside her own fashion collaboration with River Island, a deal with M.A.C. cosmetics, now Rihanna is taking her career to the next level. The singer when named as the creative director of Puma, kicked her partnership off with a flight to Puma’s Herzogenaurach, Germany HQ on Monday, where WWD said she held her “first creative session with the design team, picking out colors, styles and discussing the line’s direction.”

RiRi announced her huge new collaboration on social media, wearing an all-white ensemble, including a fur-embellished topper, cozy sweats, a ton of pearl necklaces and of course.

In addition, the 26-year-old is to act as the company’s global brand ambassador, joining ranks with Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, and football star striker Mario Balotelli, among others, while also fronting Puma’s ad campaign for fall 2015.
