Former rap mogul, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight collapsed in court on Friday, March 20, after a judge set his bail at $25 million.

Paramedics who were already on stand-by in court rushed over to collect Knight off the floor and load him onto a stretcher for his now routine ambulance ride to the hospital. Knight has collapsed in court on several previous occasions. His medical ailments range from stomach problems to blindness in one or both eyes.

Outside the courtroom, Knight’s attorney, Matthew Fletcher, said his client is being unfairly treated by the system, saying the rapper is being kept in solitary confinement.

Fletcher said his client is diabetic and has a blood clot, and that he has not received his medication since Thursday.

The attorney had asked the judge to set Knight’s bail at $2 million.

Knight is currently facing a murder and attempted murder charge in the fatal hit-and-run incident that left a man, Terry Carter, dead. Most recently, Knight and his defense team argued that Knight is legally blind and thus couldn't see Carter when he accelerated his car that day.

The 49-year-old co-founder of Death Row Records has therefore pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges.
