Popular Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel released first album titled Awosome in 2004.

In 2008, Mzbel won a special Portrait of Excellent Woman award for blazing the trail as a female artist and her contribution to female empowerment.
