Captain Mahama was the victim of a mob attack on Monday, after being mistaken to be an armed robber in Denkyira-Obuasi.

The military man was subsequently lynched, with the residents refusing to have none of his pleas.

A lot of heartfelt tributes have poured in since the news broke, and Irene has added her voice, describing the mob attack on the soldier as action filled “with so much hate”.

The one-time ‘Stars of the Future’ winner first wrote: “We hide behind blaming other nationalities when there's truancy!... I guess we are not angels after all.”
