Kwaw Kese Foundation Donates To KATH & Kumasi Central Prison

The Kwaw Kese Foundation with support from Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of mobile telecommunication network Tigo, donated several items including toiletries

Fante rapper KwawKese when released from the KumasiCentralprison in December promised he would go back there but not as a prisoner but instead to spend Valentine’s Day with them.

The rapper did as promised as he made his way to Kumasi over the weekend to show love and make some donations to the KomfoAnokyeTeachingHospital and the Kumasi Central Prison.

According to Peace FM, The KwawKeseFoundation with support from MillicomGhanaLimited, operators of mobile telecommunication network Tigo, donated several items including toiletries (soap, shampoo and toothpaste) and other items to the children’s ward of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and also had a brief tour of the health facility.

Kwaw and his team later went to the Kumasi Central Prison where they are said to have donated several items including, mattresses, sachets of water, slippers, toothbrush, bags of sugar, bags of rice, and gallons of oil and mosquito repellants.

The ‘Let me do my thing’ singer is said to have also put up a performance for the inmates to fulfill a promise he made to them when he was granted bail.

Kwaw is however still standing trial for allegedly smoking wee in public and will be appearing before the KMA court on February 27.
