Airtel Ghana has for the last two weeks been supporting causes and initiatives nominated by their employees to spread the joy of the season during the Christmas period. Out of the 8 initiatives supported so far, more than half has benefited educational institutions.

In his comments, Winifred Addai, Circuit Supervisor for the Atomic Kwabenya Circuit thanked Airtel Ghana for supporting the school. He said “ We are very happy with the support Airtel has given to the school. This will definitely help improve teaching and learning as well as the reading habit of pupils not only in this school but the entire cluster. We have had this library without books for a long time and it has been challenging for us, as educators and the pupils. This is certainly the best Christmas gift Airtel has given to us and for that, we are truly grateful”.

The 12 Days of Giving initiative is Airtel’s commitment to enriching lives and supporting worthy causes in December.

The initiative is employee led and provides a great platform for employees to actively seek ways to be the change they want to see in their communities.
