AUCC student launches “vote right, vote peace” campaign
Ghana heads to the polls on December 7 to elect a new president and 275 parliamentarians for the next four years.

The video campaign dubbed "vote right, vote peace," features some selected students of the university delivering peace messages in rap and presentation form.
Daniel Peprah said he did the video to raise awareness about the upcoming election and also ensure people cast their vote right.

“I think our democracy is growing and violence and misunderstanding still goes on. And People also go to vote and sometimes end up spoiling their ballot.
“So I think education must be more and I am not seeing that from the National Commission for Civic Education.
“I did this campaign to create the awareness that election is coming and that we must vote right. Vote right in the sense that they must make sure their vote is counted.
Peprah says his main target is the youth, who are mostly used to foment trouble on Election Day.
The School's SRC External Affairs Officer, Eugene Amoah Ampadu, in the video said "it will be unfair to humanity to use intolerance as a tool to drawn the voice of a fellow brother."

Another student featured in the video said "nobody wants to live in a war torn country," urging Ghanaians to vote right, and vote peace.
Others were featured in pair chorusing the "vote right, vote peace" message.
