In an interview with Accra-based Adom FM on Friday morning, the headmaster of the Prempeh College Samuel Fordjour confirmed that that the handbag containing valuables had been found with the help of closed circuit television footage.

“When we met yesterday, I was told the bag has been found and that they had traced the person who stole the bag and had gone for the bag, a camera at the location helped to trace the person.”

The bag contained her valuables including her phone, workplace ID cards, her car and home keys.

The incident marred what was supposed to be a victory not just for Prempeh College but for science education in the entire country. It is unclear if the bag was returned with all its contents intact.
