This week, I take a look at Sandra Ankobiah and Paedae's relationship, #DumsorMustStop and more
Hello guys and welcome to another episode of #AmeyawSays. The #DumsorMustStop vigil will finally come off this Saturday amidst the hullabaloo that followed the announcement by Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie and other celebrities some days ago. Earlier in the week, the Police came out say that the organizers should hold on to the vigil in spite of granting the group permission to hit the street for the vigil, previously. This followed sentiments by the Ga Traditional Council that the vigil could interfere with its ban on 'noise-making'.
Anyway, musician, Barimah Sydney who is a strong advocate of the #Dumsormuststop vigil shared some information on social media revealing that organizers have finally been given the green light to go on with the vigil on the scheduled date, May 16 and he also revealed a new venue to serve as converging point for the vigil after University of Ghana authorities and operators of Legon ON THE RUN disallowed organizers from using their respective premises. Barimah Sydney wrote:
“At long last the battle has been won. The police have approved our routs hence the peaceful #dumsormuststop vigil is on!!!…Saturday 16th may ….@the bridge between the old legon gate and on the run…4pm sharp!!! All are invited…ignore all the rumours….this is official!!!….dumsor must indeed stop!!!….godbless ghana”,
Also in this episode in take a look at the relationship between Paedae and Sandra Ankobiah in the wake of evidence that they were spotted in the same living room late Tuesday night. As rapper and mogul Jay Z sets his eyes on Nigeria for new talents, David Drake from the popular American media platform for youth culture, Complex Magazine takes a look at what that means and suggests 5 of the biggest hits in Nigeria for Jay Z and the magazine’s American audience. The list didn’t go down well with several Nigerians including bloggers and journalists. Although Drake did not say he was suggesting rappers for Jay-Z, most of the comments suggested that the artists on his list were not rappers (or good rappers).
I take a look at the issue as well as reports that Nadia Buari was spotted with the father of her twins in Accra on Monday morning. Don't forget to share your views on the topic...have your say
