Actress gets family backing over nude photos

Her sister, Tabitha Ekeh, was interviewed on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review" show on Saturday about the photos and said the family is not opposed to her actions.

Holding brief for her, Tabitha Ekeh said the nude photos were shot for an advocacy project she is yet to unveil.

She said: “Those pictures are for a self-employed project my sister intends to embark on. It is for advocacy against plastic surgery.

"You see that everything about the pictures is natural.

"The scars, the natural light and even the photos are not edited. So it purely worked and when she comes back from the shoot, she will explain more.”

Speaking on the same show, Councillor George Lutterodt condemned the family for supporting the actress over the nude photos.

"When it comes to this girl, it is parenting go wrong. It is a parenting error. Because if I hear the sister speaking and the mother speaking, it is like she is independent," he said.

He continued: "I think the family should bow down their head in shame. This is one of the biggest shame ever because we rather hear people when the nakedness of their children comes out, they want to use every means to cover it.

"Whiles you rather find another family coming to in a way endorse 'this is our sister’s way of branding' and we accept it, it means that she is coming from a very disgraceful family.

"And I have not heard of the father speaking. Anytime you find homes where there are no fathers, you see people going wayward like this."

"This is a shame and disgrace. she doesn't need prayers. she needs more shame, more disgrace."
