Nikki Samonas Reveals She Has Ventured Into Directing
Nikki Samonas said her decision to go into directing had been well received by some influential people in the showbiz industry and as a result, she had received numerous calls to direct other projects as well.

She disclosed to Graphic Showbiz that she has been busy trying her hands on other projects and she has directed her first project, a short film titled,
The actress said the movie, a romantic thriller, follows the relationship of two individuals who meet and fall in love during the Odwira festival. Their romance is, however, cut short as a result of some traditional restrictions and practices. “This is my first time directing and although it was challenging, I have to admit it has been a unique experience. The short film is already available on YouTube and I urge Ghanaians to watch it,” she said. Nikki Samonas said her decision to go into directing had been well received by some influential people in the showbiz industry and as a result, she had received numerous calls to direct other projects as well. “I would like to thank Kalybos for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talents. Directing was one of the courses I studied back in school but I’ve not had the opportunity to try my hands at any projects until now”, she said.
