Sarkodie electrifies Düsseldorf crowd

He kicked off the tour in the German city of  Düsseldorf with an electrifying performance.

His next stop is Belgium, the rapper announced on Facebook.

On Facebook, he noted that:"Germany gave me a grand opening of my for my Highest Album Europe tour. Germany was hundred percent."

He started the tour on the back of accusation from a Ghanaian producer, Gafacci, who claims the rapper had remixed his beat on a song and using it on his new album without giving him credit.

In less than 24 hours upon its release on Friday, September 8, "Highest", the 5th studio album from Sarkodie, was dominating iTunes album charts globally, with groundbreaking chart positions across iTunes charts in America, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Switzerland among others.

Upon release, the Highest album shot to the top of the iTunes album charts in Ghana, and landed the #2 spot on the iTunes album charts in Nigeria. The album also reached the top 20 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap album charts in both the UK and US, landing at #13 and #7 respectively. In other parts of the world, the album gained massive strides as well, reaching the top 30 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap album charts in Canada and Switzerland.
