Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner put their divorce behind them and decided to spend Christmas together this year for their kids despite their mutual differences. The Oscar winning actor have revealed this in a joint statement with his former wife on Tuesday after many weeks of speculation on the status of their marriage.

Sources close to them have said that, “Christmas morning they will all be together to open their present” as the family plans to spend Christmas as a single team at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana. “Ben and Jerry want every Christmas to be a time of joy and family. They want their kid’s childhood memories to be good.”

The parents who are both 43 years old have three kids named Violet, 10 years old, Seraphina, 6 years old and Samuel, 3 years old. The parents divorced after 10 years of happily married together. In a joint statement to a popular daily they said that, “after much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce, but we will go forward with and friendship for one another and a commitment to cooperating for our children.”

Their spilt was due in course in time due to Ben’s gambling and drinking and was also due to an alleged romantic relationship with their former nanny, Ouzounian which the actor continues to deny this day. Jennifer who is well known for putting things behind her was not convinced enough and the couple went through a divorce but she isn’t looking only for reconciliation this Christmas.

As a matter of fact she is quite happy to make the holiday plans strictly for their children and another source close to them assured that Ben and Jennifer will only be together for their kids and not in a romantic way by any means. It seems as though all their kids ever wanted was a Christmas miracle to happen and their wish did come true. Merry Christmas to all the children and their parents.
