Hiplife Artiste To Appear In Court Today For The 4th Time

Embattled Hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese, born Emmanuel Botchwey will today appear in court for his fourth bail attempt.

Embattled Ghanaian hiplife musician, Kwaw Kese will later today appear at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit Court for the fourth hearing of an alleged case brought against for possession of a substance suspected to be cannabis and smoking it in public.

The artiste has been remanded into prison custody for a little over a month after he was arrested for allegedly smoking cannabis at Kumasi based LUV FM’s Old Skuul event last month.

This will be the fourth time he will be appearing in court since his arrest on Saturday, November 22.

Previous attempts to get the court to grant him bail have not been successful because narcotics cases are non-bailable. His colleagues in the music industry have been pleading with the authorities to deal leniently with him while others are campaigning for his release.
