“Don’t marry if you can’t respect your husbands” - veteran actress

Maame Dokono has cautioned female celebrities to cease entering into any marriage if they cannot respect their husbands.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM this weekend she said, “If you think you are a star so you can go around with different men just as you like then do not marry in the first place."

She stressed that celebrities should give a second thought before agreeing to be in a relationship.

The veteran actress was quick to point out that women should understand that their husbands will always be the first priority and advised celebrities to take full responsibility at home to keep a good family relationship.

To better strengthen the marriage bonds she further advised the female celebrities on occasion to take their husbands with them to work in order for them to understand them better.

"Be patient, be humble and stop being arrogant because of the little money you have. If you think you can’t do all these, then why don’t you stay alone?" she queried.

He cautioned the men as well to take time to understand what their wives do.
