Madonna is struggling to stay positive as she continuous to battle ex-husband, Guy Richie over the custody of her son.

The pop star posted an emotional Instagram selfie on Friday, January 22, with the caption:

"Moving Forward," the superstar, 57, captioned the photo. "Nowhere else to go. #rebelheartour."

Madonna, who is currently on her 'Rebel Heart' tour, appears on the verge of tears in the emotional selfie. She stares right into the camera and has no expression on her face.

The Queen of Pop is in the middle of a messy custody battle over her son Rocco Ritchie. Madonna took the custody battle to a court in Manhattan, New York in December after Rocco refused to return to NYC. At the time, the 15-year-old was visiting his British director dad, 47, in London over the holidays and did not return to the States in time for school.

The second hearing is in New York on February 3.
