Looks like Nick Cannon's hope for a reconciliation with his ex wife just came crushing down

Nick Cannon says "never say never'' to a reconciliation with his ex wife, but new reports say Mariah Carey says she'll never ever get back with the father of her twins.

Leaving Baltaire in Brentwood Monday night [April 13] Nick was approached by a photog who asked him straight up if there was a chance he and Mariah could get back together.

The 'America's Got Talent' host said he could reunite with his ex for the sake of love... and his twins.

According to sources close to Mariah, she's out of that game and there's not chance of a romantic reconciliation despite her liking and respecting Nick.

The sources say she is happy being single now and is looking forward to a residency in Vegas in a few weeks where she'll be busy making money.

And when she is not working, she'll be at her private island in the Bahamas called Eleuthera where she'll be raising her kids.
