Abeiku Santana punches Ato Kwamena Dadzie over “soli”

Call it a media banter and you would not be far from right. The act of some radio presenters throwing shots at each other on their respective platforms is gradually gaining roots.

Ace radio presenter, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey popularly known as Abeiku Santana of Okay FM has taken a swipe at Joy FM's Ato Kwamena Dadzie following his statement that some senior journalists after being called by the Chief of Staff for a meeting could not reject a sum of one thousand Ghana Cedis given to each as “soli”.

Sounding furious on his drive time show, "Ekwanso Dwodwo", on Thursday, Santana blasted Ato Kwamena saying, "Which radio presenter can deny taking any gift of any form from musicians to put their songs on rotation; and you spew nonsense that journalists take money from politicians and all? How can you insult and degenerate a profession you belong to?"

He noted that Kwame Sefa Kayi, host of Peace FM’s morning show is well to do to stoop so low to such an amount.
