Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral featured Whitney Houston's music

The memorial for Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been marred by an outburst that reflects the continuing tensions in the family

Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral took place on Saturday (August 1) and she was laid to rest with the help of her late mother Whitney Houston's music.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest in the church where she used to pray with her beloved mother Whitney Houston.

Mum and daughter regularly attended the St James United Methodist Church for more than a decade.

But today Bobbi Kristina arrived alone, in a silver casket, as her family gathered for her funeral service.

Her aunt, Leolah Brown, was asked to leave after an outburst while Bobbi’s other aunt, Pat Houston, was making a tribute.

Outside the St James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, furious Leolah ranted: “Whitney is going to haunt Pat Houston from the grave.”

The final song that was played during the ceremony was Whitney‘s version of “Jesus Loves Me.”

Several members of both the Houston and Brown families spoke, in addition to friend Tyler Perry, but her father Bobby Brown was not listed as a speaker.

Bobby left a message in the funeral’s program that said, “I also will always love you.”
