Blakk Rasta didn’t make the “wee” allegation on his show – Okraku-Mantey

According to him, Blakk Rasta was interviewed at home as a musician and he made those utterances.

Programmes Manager of Hitz FM, Mark Okereku-Mantey says Blakk Rasta’s comments which suggested that about 80% of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke “wee” was not made on the latter’s show.

Mark who appeared before the Privileges Committee of Parliament on Thursday said he scrutinized the questions that were asked on that day and none of them had to do with Parliament.

“Blakk was interviewed at home and he made some of the utterances I read. I scrutinized the questions asked. None of them had to do with Parliament. I cannot determine the answers Blakk Rasta gave,” he said.

Blakk Rasta is before the Privileges Committee of Parliament for some comments he made that suggested 80% of Ghanaian parliamentarians smoke “Wee”.

Publications on a number of websites quoted the host of Hitz FM’s show to have said that, “There are about 80% of parliamentarians who smoke weed so why do people think those who smoke marijuana go mad.”

Blakk Rasta is appearing as a witness before the committee to assist in investigation of contemptuous remarks allegedly made on his show.
